So, my alone time is coming to an end.  I look forward to resuming our “regular programming” despite how chaotic our schedule can be.   While many are uncomfortable with being alone for a lengthy amount of time, I find it refreshing.  Solitude is far different than isolation.   During my alone period, I chose when and if I wanted to socialize. I passed the time napping, meditating, reading, and sometimes meditating that flowed into napping.  I made time to soak in the tub or eat junk food that I normally wouldn’t touch.   It was an exhale. It gave me an opportunity to be grateful those little things that often slip by me and appreciate my family even more. The time spent was a celebration of me.  All affirming that my happiness is within me and not dependent on anyone else.

Albert Einstein said it best,”If you want to live a happy life, tie it to a goal, not to people or objects.”
