It occurs when you least expect it. The subtle nudge toward the unexpected can lead you down a unfamiliar, yet illuminated path. For the last few years, I haven’t been exercising due to my aging body. Funny, not even fifty yet, but I have knees of a ninety year old. Recently, I felt the urge to utilize the treadmill that mocks me every time I walk by it. I started slowly and after a week, I am motivated to use it with no pain generated in my joints. I guess my point is that God’s timing is always perfect.
I can try and force my own timing, but it never works out the way I had envisioned. The biggest obstacle is myself. What is amazing is how, if patient, and willing to listen, everything unfolds with grace and ease. Listening to the understated whisper is key to transforming my life. For when I am still the magic really does happen.
