I have a group of chatterboxes in my head.  They are busy filling my brain with a variety of plausible justifications to rationalize any decisions that I am pondering.     It is a virtual circus of insanity, if I allow it.

As I have grown, I realize that my life lessons are not based on my choices, but rather the experience gained.    Making an impulsive or thought out decision is merely the first step. It is the follow through and immersing myself in the results that teaches me the most.    Living my life regret free is key.

Last night, curled up in my pajamas, my life-long friend of thirty plus years, and I discussed at length, the foundation of our choices.  While both of us have walked different paths, we were in agreement that we have no regrets.  Our steps to where we have arrived today would have never happened had we made different choices.   It really is the experience that expands our knowledge, helps us in making future decisions, and allows us to grow as imperfect humans.

My life is an anthology of attempts that either exploded successfully or fizzled miserably.  Either way, I am a product of my experiences.    Looking back, I wouldn’t change a thing.
