A week has passed since Pinterest kicked me out for what they deemed as “bad behavior”. The interesting thing is that I am still getting considerable blog traffic from that site which is confusing at best. While I waited for their decision, I was conjuring up my appeal, since my past experience with them has resulted in fighting for my right to pin. The last time this happened, they had banned me for life, so I had to write an appeal which resulted in a response that basically said, “Oops we did it again”. Kidding. It didn’t really say that, but it might as well have because this is a constant issue.

Last night, I received an email from them. Here is what it said: “Sorry for the trouble! It looks like we made a mistake when we deactivated your account. It’s up and running again, so you can get right back to savings Pins you find!” Seriously. WTAF? Apparently, I am not the rebel that I conjured up in my mind. My blogs must not be as controversial as I was led to believe. Of course, my brain has made up all kinds of scenarios because that’s what I do. All my creative thinking was completely wasted as they “made a mistake”. Cue my extremely exaggerated eyeroll.

I am sure this won’t be the last time this happens. Their glitch is something they don’t seem too worried about fixing. But, as it stands, I live another day to pretend I am a rebel without a cause.
