Well, the first day of the new year and 2016 is off to a phenomenal start.   In my neck of the woods, we haven’t seen the lighted orb of the sun since early December.   Probably hasn’t been that long, but I’m a writer and I thrive on exaggeration.

For me, 2015 was a year of surprises.    Traveling to Italy and facilitating a huge charity project were not on my radar at all, so it just shows me that anything is possible.    It is all about being open and ready.    It is about not allowing fear to rule your decisions and believing in yourself enough to try those opportunities that scare you.

As I enjoy the sun flooding my home and I write the first blog of the new year, I am overwhelmed with a sense of anticipation for the endless possibilities that the year will offer.    Sure, some may not be exactly what I want to experience, but that my friends, is life.     The good, the bad, the beautiful, and the incredibly ugly are wrapped with a big red bow awaiting to be opened.    So, buckle up and be ready for the ride of a lifetime.   2016 is ready for YOU!     Are you ready to it?
