If you have been following my blog you are aware of that my life is a three-ring circus and I am a horrible juggler. The good news is that my mom is being released from the hospital today but that entails us making a lot of adjustments and planning long term. While I am thrilled she can ditch the confines of that dingy space, I am a little anxious on how this is all going to work. But, I know I have special workers in place who will guide us every step of the way.
Of course Luna’s dog training concluded with the introduction of her E-collar right when the shit hit the fan. My brain can only accommodate so much information until a “no vacancy” sign starts blinking. That has been me this whole week. Luna has done very well with training. Me, well, there is a lot of room for improvement. For example, it is helpful to actually turn on the collar. Having the power on enables it to connect to the remote. Oh, and put it on the right setting. That’s super helpful as well. These were all pointed out to me by my youngest. I am officially antiquated.
Yesterday, I took her to school where she is attending “stay and train”. This allows her to be with her favorite trainer, review her techniques, and socialize with other like-minded canines. I texted him prior to dropping her off and told him all of the things that I am lacking in the retaining information department. I think he is amused by me. Anyway, I think I am sort of in sync with it and if not, my 21-year-old seems to have a grasp. Christ. On. A. Cracker.
I could use a reset.
